30 years ago, George Orwell's iconic year of Big Brother and fear had finally arrived. However, 9 days into the year those four numbers would forever gain new meaning with the release of Van Halen's sixth album.

With the mega hits "Panama," "Jump" and "Hot for Teacher," along with accompanying music videos, 1984 would become one of Van Halen's most successful albums to date.
